The Carbon Infrared Heater shows orange-red light when it is energized. At the same time, it generates infrared radiation to heat the surrounding objects. The surface of the heating tube is more than 500 degrees celsius. The heating process integrates three common heat transfer modes of heat conduction, heat convection, and heat radiation, and it is mainly based on heat radiation heating. The Carbon Infrared Heater Manufacturer introduces these three heat transfer modes.

1.Thermal conduction (thermal conduction)

The way in which heat is transferred from a higher temperature part of an object to a lower temperature part is called thermal conduction. Heat conduction is the phenomenon of heat transfer when there is no macroscopic motion in the medium. It can occur in solids, liquids and gases, but strictly speaking, it is pure heat conduction only in solids, and even if the fluid is in a stationary state, it will Natural convection occurs due to density differences caused by temperature gradients. Therefore, heat convection and heat conduction occur simultaneously in the fluid. In daily life, the other end of the iron rod can also feel heat, that is, heat conduction, and the handle of the shovel will be hot when cooking, which is also a type of heat conduction. Cooking is the most common form of heat transfer.

2. Thermal convection/heat convection

Also known as convection heat transfer, refers to the heat transfer process caused by the relative displacement of particles in a fluid, which is one of the three ways of heat transfer. It can only occur in fluids (gas and liquid), and it must be accompanied by the heat conduction effect of the molecular movement of the fluid itself.

Thermal convection can be roughly divided into two types: Divided by the flowing medium: gas convection and liquid convection, gas convection is more obvious than liquid. Divided according to the cause: natural convection, which is caused purely by the density of the cold and hot parts of the fluid, and the flow speed is generally low; forced convection is caused by various pumps, fans, or other external forces, so the flow speed is often very high. The diffusion of boiling water to the surroundings is thermal convection.

3. Thermal radiation

The phenomenon that an object radiates electromagnetic waves due to its temperature, which is called thermal radiation. All objects whose temperature is above absolute zero can produce thermal radiation. The higher the temperature, the greater the total energy radiated. The spectrum of thermal radiation is a continuous spectrum, and the wavelength coverage can theoretically range from 0 to ∞. The general thermal radiation mainly depends on the visible light and infrared rays with longer wavelengths.

When the temperature is low, it is mainly radiated with invisible infrared light. When the temperature is 300°C, the strongest wavelength of thermal radiation is in the infrared region. When the temperature of the object is above 500°C to 800°C, the strongest wavelength component of thermal radiation is in the visible light region.

The energy emitted (or absorbed) by the surface of a radiation source per unit time and unit area is related to the nature and temperature of the surface. The darker and rougher the surface, the stronger the ability to emit (absorb) energy. Any object radiates energy to the surrounding environment in the form of electromagnetic waves. When the radiated electromagnetic wave encounters an object on its propagation path, it will stimulate the thermal movement of the micro-particles that make up the object, which will heat up the object.

The most easily absorbed bands of food, textiles, paints, crops, etc. are also in this range, so when these substances are about the infrared rays emitted by carbon fiber heating tubes, they are easier to absorb, and then the infrared energy is converted into heat, which makes the temperature of the substance rise high to achieve the effects of drying, air drying and heating. The heated material is heated in the Infrared Heating Tube because the absorption band is in the same band as the infrared band, so it can maximize resonance, so that the material can absorb the infrared heat as quickly as possible and the temperature can be raised as quickly as possible , So as to improve the heating effect and improve production efficiency.
